Son of Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Emmett. Entered Service July 29, 1941. Went overseas November, 1943. Served with the 28th Infantry. Rank: Private First Class. Killed in action in France July 8, 1944. The Purple Heart was sent to his family after he was reported killed.
