Son of Mrs. Lester Tannahill. Born July 31, 1916. Entered service June 26, 1941. Received training at Camp Roberts, Fort Ord, and San Luis Obispo, California. Went overseas April 13 for the Aleutians Islands. He participated in the battle of Attu. Was killed May 29, 1943 and his remains now rest in Little Falls Cemetery on Attu Island.
