Son of Fred S. Dennis. Entered service October 14, 1942. Sent to Scott Field, Illinois, then to Camp Adair, Oregon, for six months. Transferred to Fort Lewis, Washington. Later to Fort Ord, California where he was transferred to Army Air Corp and sent to Sheppard Field, Texas and various Southern Camps. Was sent to Bolling Field, Washington, D.C. where he was stationed for about a year. Discharged April 11, 1946.
