Son of Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Edridge. Entered service May 22, 1943 at Rockford. Received training at Camp Wolters, Texas and Fort Meade, Maryland; went overseas November 1943 to Italy where he was wounded in action; improved and returned to front where he was again seriously wounded. Returned to States Sept. 10, 1944 by plane from Italy to AAF Hospital, Coral Gables Florida and to Vaughn Hospital Hines, discharged June 1945.
