Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chas Fletcher. Entered service October 18, 1943. Received training at Farragut, Idaho; Seattle, Washington; Puget Sound Navy Yard, Bremerton, Washington. Sent to Alaska and returned to Naval Hospital at Seattle, Washington. Discharged February 1945 as Fireman Second Class.
