Entered service February 26, 1943 at Chicago, Illinois. Attended service schools in Natto, Norman, Oklahoma training as Aviation Mechanic. Left for overseas on February 28, 1944 and was sent to the Pacific Area until May 7, 1945. Returned to states and stationed in California until he received his discharge at Marine Corps Air Depot, Mira Mar, San Diego, California on May 7, 1946. Rank: Corporal.
