Went through Cadet Training at San Antonio, Texas; Ballinger, Texas; Garden City, Kansas; Independence, Kansas and graduated as a Twin Engine Pilot on March 10, 1945 at Frederick, Oklahoma. Flew B-25 Bombers at Frederick, Oklahoma and at Brooks Field. Texas. Also acted as Classification Officer at Brooks Field, Texas. Discharged October 23. 1945 at Randolph Field. Texas. Rank: Second Lieutenant.
