Left Camp Shanks, New York for European Theatre June 151944. Was in England, France. Belgium. Holland and Germany. Received Shrapnel wounds September 14, 1944. Was in drive on Rhine. Returned to Newport News, Virginia September 29, 1945. Discharged October 6, 1945 at Camp Grant, Illinois. Rank: Private First Class.
