Son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lawson. Entered service September 22. 1944. Boot training at Farragut, Idaho; sent to Camp Parks, California. Transferred to Seabees. Was sent overseas April 15, 1945. Stationed at Okinawa 14 months. Had one Battle Star. Discharged June 6, 1946 as SF Second Class.
