Edward C. Peters
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Peters. Entered service March 17, 1945. From Fort Sheridan, Chicago, Illinois was sent to Camp Robinson, near Little Rock, Arkansas. Was in the Infantry, and after basic training, was transferred to Headquarters Company I.R.T.C. as Stenographer. During his training period was awarded a Marksmanship Badge for a SS Cal, 30 M1, Rifle. Awarded The Army Commendation Ribbon and World War II Victory Medal, Transferred to Fort Bragg, North Carolina in August 1946. Discharged October 2, 1946 from Fort Bragg, North Carolina as Technician Fourth Grade
