Son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Sadler. Entered service April 10, 1941 at Scott Field, Ill. Received training at Camp Forrest, Tenn; Fort Lewis, Washington; and California. Sent to Hawaii July 1943 and New Guinea. Wounded March 23, 1945, shot in hand in action at Baguio, Northern Luzon Island of Philippines. Returned to states at Fort Mc Dowell, California September 25, 1945. Discharged October 4, 1945 as Technical Sergeant. Was with 130 Infantry, 33rd Division.
