Son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Sadler. Entered service July 1942. Received training at Camp Swift, Texas; Fort Sam Houston, Texas; and Camp Polk, Louisiana. Sent overseas to England and Germany. Landed October 1, 1944 with 95th Division of General Patton's 3rd Army to 9th. Returned to states July 1, 1945. Discharged August 1945 as Staff Sergeant.
