Son of Mr. Stewart. Entered service May 21, 1943 at Camp Grant, Illinois. Received training at Camp Wolters, Texas. On November 2, 1943, left Newport News, Virginia for European Theatre where he joined with the 45th Division 180 Infantry on January 10, 1943 near Naples. Saw action at Naples, Toggia, Anzio-Rome, Southern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Discharged October 29, 1945 at Camp Grant, Illinois as Sergeant.
