Son of Mr. and Mrs. B.B. Thomas. Entered active service June 30, 1941 at Selfridge Field, Michigan being in Field Artillery. Went overseas to North Africa and Sicily, Italy, Corsica, Ireland, Scotland and England. Returned to U.S. to Miami, Florida June 11, 1945. Reassigned in Miami, Florida to Dayton, Ohio, Washington. D.C. Discharged February 1946 as Lieutenant Colonel.
