Son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Timmons. Entered service July 1944. Received training at Great Lakes, Illinois; Norfolk, Virginia; Quatanamo Bay, Cuba, December 1946. Served on U.S.S. Hawkins DD873 and V.O.B. Discharged in 1947 as Boilermaker #C.
