Son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Watkins. Born September 21, 1912. Entered service at Scott Field December 26, 1942 in Army. Sent overseas June 15, 1943. Landed in Australia, then New Guinea and in 1944 went to the Philippine Islands. Discharged December 24, 1945 at Jefferson Barracks, Missouri as Sergeant.
