Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Woods. Entered service in the Army Air Force at Chanute Field, Illinois on March 15, 1941. Sent overseas to England, Germany, and France. Arrived back in the states in August 1945 and was discharged on November 1, 1945 and re-enlisted the same day. Rank; Sergeant. He was then sent to Florida and then to Louisiana, when he sailed for Panama Canal. After serving six months there, he was sent back to Louisiana and is now stationed at Spokane, Washington.
