Son of Mrs. Ida Davis. Entered service January 28. 1944 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Received training at Camp Stewart, Georgia, February 1944; Camp Gordon, Georgia; and Fort Bening, Georgia. Awarded the Good Conduct Medal and American Occupation Victory Medal. Discharged March 1. 1946 from Mc Pherson, Georgia as Corporal.
