Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mitchell. Entered service December 19, 1942, Scott Field, Illinois. Received training at Fort Francis E. Warren. Wyoming; Camp Lee, Virginia; Camp Shenango, Pennsylvania. Went overseas to India with Transportation Unit. Discharged February 5. 1946.
