Son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nevins. Entered service October 14, 1942 at Scott Field, Illinois. Received training at Fort Lewis, Washington. Sent to Hawaii, New Guinea, Dutch East Indies, and Philippines. Arrived in Tacoma. Washington January 1946. Discharged January 13, 1946 as Private First Class.
