Returned to Norfolk, Virginia February 23, 1944. Sent to Miami, Florida to attend Submarine School, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; USS Allegan. Pacific to Okinawa; Treasure Island. Discharged October 8, 1945 at Great Lakes. Illinois, as Quartermaster First Class.
