Son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Armstrong. Entered service August 30, 1940 at Peoria, Illinois. Was with 37th School Squadr on Air Force Corps Technical School at Chanute Field. Discharged at Billings General Hospital January 22, 1942 after serving one year, five months and ten days. Rank: Private First Class.
