Son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Armstrong. Entered service July 29, 1944. Received training at Great Lakes, Illinois and Davisville, Rhode Island February 1945. Going to Port Hueneme California where he was attached to personnel office until his discharge August 13, 1946 as Yeoman Third Class.
