Son of Mrs. Zelda Boston. Entered service September 16, 1942 at Great Lakes Illinois. Received training at San Diego, California; Orange, Texas; Charleston, South Carolina. Went overseas to Southwest Pacific to Saipan Guam, Aleutians, Philippines, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa. Discharged October 11, 1945. Rank: Seaman Second Class.
