Son of Mr. and Mrs. Crill Bridges, Sr. Entered service at Scott Field January 20, 1943 in the Army. Received training at Camp Howze, Texas; Camp Swift, Texas. Sent overseas November 25, 1944 to France and Germany with the 7th Army. Discharged January 22, 1946 at Camp Grant, Illinois. Re-enlisted for one year. Discharged February 26, 1947 as Sergeant.
