Son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Chaudion. Enlisted in Naval Reserve in the V-5 Program December 5, 1942. Called for training at Murray College (Kentucky) as a cadet, Sept 1, 1943. Graduated from Corpus Christi, Texas Naval Air Training Base May 2, 1945 as an Airplane Pilot and Commissioned an Ensign. Took further training and practice flying until May 1946 when he left San Diego, California with a weather reconnaissance squadron for the Philippines Islands where he served until August when he was brought back to the states because of a defective hearing caused by high altitude flying. Was hospitalized at Treasure Island, Navy Hospital, San Francisco, California. In September, 1946, he entered Illinois Institute of Technology at Chicago, Illinois, where he expects to take a three year course. Still in service. Rank: Ensign.
